In 1951, MONAVI launches its first jewellery in a professional workshop of Venice, Italy, which is famous for the birthplace of the Renaissance. The elegant cultural deposits have been building up its fashion legend of MONAVI today.

In 1953, MONAVI opens its first shop at one of Venice’s most prestigious streets, and name “MONAVI”. Brand name is derived from Italian “MO-NA-VI”; means make women more beautiful.

MONAVI emphases its presence with aesthetic perception of solid geometry, its master-hand innovation, elegant design, folksy luxurious and unique style become favorable pursuit of the local upper-class. After the 1970’, MONAVI has established its brand presence gradually, and more and more popular in West Europe.

MONAVI has been putting great emphasis on the exploitation and fusion of cultural connotation. On the basis of inheriting Italian fashion culture, Absorbing cultural elements of foreign lands has been introduced into its brand since 1990’s. In 2005, MONAVI begin to develop market in China, not just bring fashion experience for Chinese clients, and also give sensory impressions of culture and art into them.
